Whale Dreamers Festival 2018
Whale Dreamers Festival is created by a passionate group of locals held at Norah Head Lighthouse bringing the community together to raise awareness of the plight of whales, to hear about their wonder, to raise funds for conservation and research projects about whales, and to actively participate in their conservation.
Bush Street will be closed for this event and festival goers have the choice of taking a walk up the beautiful bush track or walking up the road, or taking a shuttle bus up the hill. Yes half the road will once again be pedestrian friendly, yay!!
The buses will also do a pick up at the Norah Head shops to save the hassle of having to drive right in and get caught up in traffic.
There will be a pick up at the bottom of the hill as usual.
We will have a trailer this year for prams and wheelchairs on one of the buses to make things easier and more comfortable for people travelling up the hill.
OUR PARADE THEME for this year is EN-POWER, a Super Hero who is the protector of your favourite plant, animal, insect etc. Let your imagination run wild!
A day out with the family and free activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
